What is Air

Air is a fully immersive, multi-sensory art installation that plays with light, reflection, and space in a way that expands your senses, perception of New York, and your own identity. Created by artist Kenzo Digital, the experience blends nature, cityscape, and digital illusion to create a dream-like reality.

Transcendence

TranscendenceThe most popular mirrored space at Air is where floors, walls, and ceilings are fully reflective. It stretches the NYC skyline in every direction you look—up, down, and sideways—turning the space into a dreamlike, floating city that shifts with every step you take.

Affinity

Affinity A room filled with hundreds of reflective, silver balloons that bounce and move with you. It’s playful, tactile, and oddly calming—like walking through a slow-motion cloud of bubbles suspended in the air.

Unity

A digital installation that captures your face in real time and projects it onto a massive LED screen alongside others creates a shared, living artwork that’s constantly evolving. It’s about connection, identity, and being part of something bigger.

Ascent

A high-speed, all-glass external elevator that takes you up the side of One Vanderbilt. It’s the tallest elevator ride in the world and gives you 360-degree views as you ascend into the clouds.

Sound design
