I genuinely found quite invasive that as soon as you walk in they move you around like sheep, taking pictures on wooden walls saying they are "souvenirs", and doing a full facial scan?!?! It's supposed to be for an "inversive" experience, however I wouldn't justify pretty much taking my full identity for my face to "show" 5 seconds on a cloud. A QR code currently retains my data and plenty others. Very uncomfortable. Other than that, it was okay. Would appreciate having more info on the views.

Interminable thing due to elevator malfunction. Instead of notifying us they left us 90 Min waiting before giving any explanation of the problem. Another 60 min wait then, with children on top of that. Easy to pay, hard to get refunds or excuses.

Edge is a top venue to visit, 1st time this year and will be going again on our next visit to New York. The views from the observation decks are amazing, even the elevator ride was impressive with the built in video show. Would thoroughly recommend a visit while in New York.

So beautiful and so fun. Such a great view with a unique perspective of looking down under your feet. The building is also great before you even get to the Edge, fun shops and restauarants. Loved it. I highly recommend going if you like high buildings with amazing 360 views - if you are scared of heights - don't go -otherwise join in the fun.

I genuinely found quite invasive that as soon as you walk in they move you around like sheep, taking pictures on wooden walls saying they are "souvenirs", and doing a full facial scan?!?! It's supposed to be for an "inversive" experience, however I wouldn't justify pretty much taking my full identity for my face to "show" 5 seconds on a cloud. A QR code currently retains my data and plenty others. Very uncomfortable. Other than that, it was okay. Would appreciate having more info on the views.

The Museum Of Maoder Art was a wonderful experience for me and my 8 year twin boys. It was way bigger than I expected it to be and there was so much to see! I genuinely found quite invasive that as soon as you walk in they move you around like sheep, taking pictures on wooden walls saying they are "souvenirs", and doing a full facial scan?!?! It's supposed to be for an "inversive" experience, however I wouldn't justify pretty much taking my full identity for my face to "show" 5 seconds on a cloud. A QR code currently retains my data and plenty others. Very uncomfortable. Other than that, it was okay. Would appreciate having more info on the views.

Breathtaking! Being at eye level with the Empire State Building or the Chrysler Building in a hall of mirrors or between floating silver balloons is simply wow. As is the view of southern Manhattan. The Summit was the sightseeing highlight of our stay in New York, without a doubt.

Best time to visit: The ultimate SUMMIT One Vanderbilt experience is hands down during sunset. Visit just before sunset to experience the mesmerizing transformation of the New York skyline as day turns into night. Weekdays at the observation deck tend to be less crowded, while weekends offer a livelier atmosphere.
Visit during the peak season (April to June and September to November) for pleasant weather and clear views. If you prefer fewer crowds, visit during the low season from January to March.

- Dress code: Wear pants, shorts, or tights to avoid exposure to reflective surfaces. Shirts and shoes are mandatory.
- Photography: Photography using handheld devices is permitted.
- Prohibited items: Items that are not allowed inside include weapons, dangerous materials, transportation devices, suitcases, professional video equipment, and outside food and beverages.
- Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. This includes the indoor spaces and the terrace.
- Book your tickets in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
- Remember to carry sunglasses with you, as the reflective materials used in the building will create an unnaturally bright environment.
- You cannot drink, eat, or smoke inside the attraction.
- There is no storage for personal items. Large bags, large backpacks, and suitcases are not permitted.
- Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel-toe boots, sports cleats, and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
- Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on the glass and mirrored floors. We recommend wearing pants, shorts, or tights.

Your SUMMIT One Vanderbilt admission tickets offer you access to the main observation deck apart from which you will also be able to access immersive art exhibits spanning three floors including Air by Kenzo Digital and Levitation.
Can I access the Ascent glass elevator with my ticket?
The Ascent elevator experience is not included in your admission ticket. However, you can purchase tickets to this experience separately at the venue.
Are there discounts on the tickets?
Children between 6 to 12 years can enjoy discounted SUMMIT One Vanderbilt tickets.
Can I re-enter SUMMIT One Vanderbilt with the same ticket?
Your SUMMIT One Vanderbilt tickets are timed and single-entry only. You will not be able to re-enter the attraction with the same ticket.
What if I am late for my scheduled entry?
It is recommended you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled visit time. If you arrive late, you will be asked to wait until the next available slot.
Can I stay for as long as I want?
While the SUMMIT experience is designed to last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, you can take your time at the observation deck to enjoy the views and take pictures at your own pace.

Superb tour of Manhattan and the Summit at the end. Thanks to our guide Sara, who had lots of anecdotes to share with us, and was extremely dynamic throughout, despite the freezing temperature! It took about 2h30, but it was well worth it 🙂
