Getting to Wollman Rink by public transport
Take the N, R, or W lines from Times Square, 42 St toward Uptown and get off at 5 Av/59 St. Exit toward Central Park South and walk north into the park. Follow the clearly marked paths toward the southern end of Central Park; Wollman Rink is about an 8-10 minute walk from the station.
